God did not merely create
the heavens and the earth
the mountains and the seas
the plants and the trees
the animals and the birds
you and me
He is creating
in every moment
all of this and more
for none of this exists
we do not exist
outside of this
perpetual act of creation
breathed and spoken
into being
in this very moment
our very life
our very existence
our very breath
a gift
created from
for
out of
love
