Oratio Divina: Layer By Layer

My life has been
a constant unfolding
of divine love
revealing itself
moment by moment
breath by breath
through the darkness
through the light
a recollection
an unveiling
an opening of my heart
layer by layer
to the presence of Christ
in and around me
~Robert Van Valkenburgh
