I have wanted so badly
to belong in this world
to have a home here
to find rest in this place
and there have been moments
ever so brief
where I have felt this joy
where I have been at peace
but this broken world
is not where I belong
it is not my home
in this place
in this body
I will find no rest
but only in Christ
may I seek him always
so be it
