The Lord’s love
is not passive
He does not wait
for us to come to Him
He is constantly seeking
intimacy and closeness
with His children
knocking on the doors
we have closed in shame
awaiting our consent
to His presence
that we may not suffer alone
His is not a passive love
the love of the Lord
is patient but persistent
