Oratio Divina: Something Real

Jesus give me something real
that I can cling to
if only the hem of your garment
my thoughts deceive me
my mind tells me lies
that I want to believe
I want to feel your love
taste your mercy
be immersed in your presence
until I can no longer deny you
even for a moment
for you are the way
the truth
the life
~Robert Van Valkenburgh

Reflection:
Where in your life are you reaching for Jesus not with certainty, but with desperate trust—and what would it look like to cling to even the smallest sign of His presence?

Scripture:
“She came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, ‘If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.’” — Mark 5:27–28 (NIV)
