Oratio Divina: Presence And Awe

Time flies
like a feather
on a windstorm
it cannot be caught
nor clung to
with mere effort
or force of will
attempts to grasp it
only lead to frustration
look away
for even a moment
and it is gone
lost forever
to the swirling chaos
of nature’s comings and goings
no time cannot be possessed
only experienced
through patience
presence
and awe
like a child
smiling
at the beauty
and mysterious wonder
of a feather
on a windstorm
