who has no love

whether through trauma and pain
or pride and anger
has been hardened
by resentment
selfishness
fear
and yet
this is the Lord’s command
for we do not truly love God
unless we love His broken children
as He loved us
when we were yet broken children

Who in my life feels hardest to love right now, and how might God be inviting me to love them as He has loved me?
