Oratio: With Love And Mercy

In stillness we find God
and our reaction
to what we find
in the quiet
in the darkness
in our solitude
is not a reflection
of God’s love and mercy
but a reflection
of our heart
in the presence
of God’s love and mercy
in this stillness
may we find
the truth of our being
of the grace
that wants nothing more
than to save us
from our sorrow
anger and fear
and to replace these
with love and mercy
