Grappling With Divinity

The cross teaches us
that love hurts
that the world is cruel
that life is unfair
we must bear this burden
but not alone
Christ will carry this cross
with and for us
if we put our faith and trust
in Him
because the cross
teaches us
that we are loved
beyond measure
or understanding
